Lauren founded Handel Food Law as an extension of her life-long passion for food. However, her decision to become a food business lawyer was about more than just working in an area that she loved. She realized that there were significant, fundamental problems with the industrialized food system.

After over a decade in “BigLaw,” representing Fortune 50 companies in litigation, she founded Handel Food Law to leverage her unique skills to benefit businesses and organizations working to make food better.

A Lawyer, Counselor, and Problem-Solver
