Linda Stein
Of CounselLinda Stein advises clients in the areas of trademark prosecution, protection and licensing. Earlier in her career, she worked as a trademark attorney at McDermott, Will & Emery LLP and the US Postal Service’s Office of General Counsel.
Linda understands the importance of trademarks not only from a legal perspective, but also as an entrepreneur. In 2004, she founded Zosimos Botanicals and single-handedly built a brand of award-winning nontoxic cosmetics sold worldwide. For 13 years, she acted both as an activist and in-house counsel, negotiating contracts, licensing formulas and lobbying for safer regulations of the cosmetic industry. Linda successfully sold her business in 2016.
Linda received her law degree from George Washington University Law School in 2002 with an emphasis in intellectual property. She is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
Linda lives with her family in Gaithersburg, Maryland and serves as a Master Gardener with the University of Maryland Extension Service.
